Great article but not sure taking the BCG apart in “the field” is a great idea, my opinion it can be removed from the upper, oiled, wiped down and
re-installed.

Clearly I’m no expert since the first time I did it was Saturday, but I wouldn’t want to take all those small parts out in the field. I guess if it was a combat scenario, it was necessary and I was tucked in somewhere for the night maybe.
