Good video. Interesting how high he brings the pistol up on his draw. I guess there’s two schools of thought: bring up high and push straight out vs bring up at chest level then push up and out simultaneously.
That gap along the frame is very important. I find that most students kinda struggle with it. I always teach that the grip size determines the gap and the gap determines where the pad of trigger finger falls.
For example, one of my guns has a grip that is almost too big for me. Because of the grip size, there is no gap between my finger and the frame, however, my trigger finger falls perfectly dead center on the trigger face despite having no visible gap. It is the gun that I’m most accurate with.
