Hunting With A 1911

I have taken a ton of small game with a 1911 .45. I killed a Fallow spike years ago.
Anyone else use theirs?

When a hog crosses my path close in, its a 1911 with flat nosed hard cast.
Leaves a quarter size hole

I took that Fallow with a cast bullet but it has been so long I no longer recall the powder charge. I am 98% sure it was Unique.

For deer and hogs, I carry a Springfield XDm10 4.5 OSP. However, I am awaiting the arrival of a 454 Casull as we speak.

A 1911 with proper rounds will drop a hog no issue. Largest was 285 lbs
