No NV is legal for hunting anything except for coyotes and any animal not regulated by FWP in my state.

Texas is legal for night time hunting for Coyotes and Hogs.
Hogs have no restrictions on use of helicopter. Just cannot shoot from public roadway and abide by normal hunting regulations.

I like to scan with thermal and shoot with night vision. I have the AGM 25 monocular thermal which I love, and I shoot with a Pulsar night vision scope. No problem with identification before pulling the trigger.
