I went to the local sporting goods store and was shocked by all the ammo they had. Hardball and self-defense 9mm, bricks of .22 cal, .45 ACP, .380 self defense at .84 cents a round, 223 and 308 ammo, 30-06 ammo, etc. I couldn’t get all the types of ammo in this picture.

The prices were still high but not as bad as it had been. I bought a box of 9mm FMJ steel case for $19.99 and a box of .45 ACP for $33.99. This has been the most ammo I’ve seen on store shelves in at least 6 months. Is the ammo shortage finally coming to and end?

Nice. Send some of that 380 my way. Chicago area is ripping people off. That norma MHP is a fair price compared to what I have seen online.

I could definitely use several boxes of each 😉.
 
My local Sportsman's changed their policy recently, which I thought was a good idea. Most the time a retailer will get a pallet of ammo and they immediately stock the shelves with everything and it would disappear in a couple hours. Well, they started spreading the love a little and they would receive a shipment and spread out stocking shelves throughout the day....100 boxes here, 100 boxes there. It was much better. Regardless of the hour I went in, I'd see ammo on the shelves. Not a LOT of ammo, but they have a box or two of what I need. Seemed to work well in the middle of the crap-storm.
 
This was the scene this morning at my local Academy and what was left AFTER the morning rush.
Also, my LGS/Range was selling whole cases of 9mm, .38 special, and .45 ACP today at big box store prices. Grabbed myself half a case of .45 because I couldn't help myself and papa has a Ronin to feed.
