I am looking for a flashlight/Green laser combo for my 9mm XDM Elite

I am looking for a flashlight/Green laser combo for my 9mm XDM Elite so I am open for suggestions. Also, for the "universal" ones I am finding they are saying something about the front rail compatibility "M1913 Picatinny or Weaver-style accessory rails". Since I don't know what rai system my XDM Elite came with I thought someone here might. I have the XD-M® ELITE 3.8" 9mm HANDGUN model#: XDME9389BHC.

Wow! And I would need new holsters! Ouch! But it will fit my 9mm XDM Elite 3.8 inch? Be better off getting a new gun and let it be the house gun. ok new plan.

Surefire X400.

Buy once, cry once.

Ok so I just saw one on Crimson Trace for $284.99. What is the actual $500 - 600 difference
Surefire is what the pros use; it’s serious, hard-use, battle-proven kit. Surefire’s warranty is also legendary: “Batteries go dead, bulbs burn out. Beyond that, if anything breaks, we fix it.”

You could also look at a Streamlight TLR-2HL—almost as good as the Surefire, not wuite as expensive.

You’ll need new holsters, regardless; one very positive thing is that Surefire and Streamlight are pretty much supported by all holster makers…the crimson trace, maybe?

And I’m not sure if it will work with the 3.8; if it does, it will stick out a bit in front (not a bad thing).

Olight makes cheap options sure, but I am convinced they flat out do not test their product. They are poorly designed and implemented for actual firearm use. I bought 3 of their weapon mount lights before I figured that out.
I'm not knocking anyone who has/uses one. This is just my personal findings and opinions. (To be fair the Baldr Pro was actually not terrible, but the PL Valkyrie Mini 2 and the Odin are complete crap though)

Hans is correct. Buy once, Cry once.

Okay I am trusting you. I just bought the Streamlight TLR-2 HL G Rail mounted Flashlight with Green Laser 69265. I did not see the XDM Elite or any Springfield Armory firearms listed

Personally I'm not a fan of handgun mounted lights. You can buy a better handheld light cheaper and it won't give away your position, held off to the side. The second rule of gun safety, never point a gun at something your not willing to destroy. You will be pointing a loaded gun at everyone you shine the light on. Just my 2 cents.

I have had a Streamlight TLR-2 HL G for close to 10 years now and have changed the batteries that's all. I have had it on a CZ 75 SP01 Tac, a couple different HKs and polymer CZs. Easy to dial in the laser for different pistols and distances. I think you'll like it just fine.

Hey what holster did you find? I am looking for one for my XDM-Elite 3.8” + TLR-2 HL G combination

Sorry Pard, I leave the light/laser combo on something pulling nightstand duty. I use it for a bump in the night but mainly to quiet the coyotes. For some reason they are scared :poop:less of that green laser getting flashed around?
