I had 3 Marines on my range Saturday

We live near a NAS flying training base. Saturday I had three young Marine student pilots on my range for a fun shoot and practice session. I have grandchildren older than these young warriors and dang do I feel old.

They all were shooting M17 Sigs, and each was a competent gun handler and marksman, as you would expect from Marines. It was with great satisfaction that I could offer some pointers to improve their shooting and gun handling skills. It makes my heart swell with pride and brings a tear to my eye to associate with these magnificent young men and women.

We must never miss the opportunity to pass down skills and knowledge to the next generation of warrior patriots.

Well done, ty for helping give them even the slightest better chance to survive bad encounter.

I had one of my Marine friends on the range again this morning for a couple hundred rounds of practice drills. We did the state LEO qual course, the Mozambique from 7 and 3 yards, the El Presidente course, some CQB drills, and then moved back to 75 yards on 8" steel plates. This young female Marine was ringing the steel at the 75 with her P365. Man what I would give for those young eyes and reflexes! Anyway, the best part was those Marines expressed their appreciation for the coaching in the finest traditions of the Marine Corps. I do love U.S. Marines!
