I just had to chuckle honestly...

So.. we all know the Prodigy has had some growing pains and the issues have largely been very minor and Springfield CS has been amazing.

But we also know there were people who kept saying "Buy a Staccato" or "Buy a BUL", etc., because "they're more reliable".

Well here's a story for you.

I have a coworker that I got interested in 2011's.
He bought a loaded Staccato P brand new from a Staccato certified shop in Texas. He noticed it felt sluggish and after 200 rounds - the DLC coating was being sheered off by the slide rubbing hard against the frame as well as the safety DLC coating rubbing off. He sent it back and they had to do a laundry list of things to it, plus re DLC every component. (That was 4 weeks ago and he still doesn't have it back yet).

He then bought a brand new BUL armory SAS II Ultralight in the mean time from BUL as a CC directly and just got it yesterday. Guess what? When he went to put on his red dot, he found they cross threaded all of the sight plate screws so you cant even get the plate off, and the slide is catching on one side and not racking like it should. It's now being RMA'd to BUL.

Granted, the is one person, and it's incredibly unlucky, but just goes to show that no manufacturer is prefect and even 'hand fit' products can have major issues.
