I love bullpups, but…

The only tactical advantage I see is a full length 16" barrel in a smaller package. But at most engagement distances you're not really gaining anything.

Sure a better powder burn for better velocities but at such close distances (25 yards and less) there's no advantage over an SBR or pistol.

That’s incorrect on several levels.

The velocity advantage alone of .223 out of a 16” barrel over that of a 8-10” is massive. It’s the difference between the bullet yawing and fragmenting or just being an ice pick, for starters…let alone temporary cavity effects.

In the real world in which we live though, that is civilian, the advantage isn't really that relevant. You got a 5.56 pistol and you shoot something at pistol ranges it's going to cause plenty of damage.

Even if the advantage is real and quantifiable, the juice isn't worth the squeeze IMO.
