it never ceases to amaze me, that weather people go outside in torrential rain, hurricanes, blizzards.....like WTF..??

we never see a news reporter standing IN the highway, waiting for a crash, or standing IN the way of first responders.

what real purpose does it do to have some mook, standing, or holding onto a tree or pole in 80 mph winds..???

set up a camera or two, and be done with it...

cuz after all, we are told, "if you don't have to go out, then stay home"

advice the weather people should follow.....except...STAY in the tv station.!!!!!!

almost as bad as CNN during hurricane IKE in houston.. reporter was in waist deep water.......
he is the white haired reporter....anderson cooper
he was death and destruction reporting, camera guy screwed up and panned right and we see TRUCKS with water just at the tires...so the camera guy panned left and WOW a dog was walking up to the camera guy on a sidewalk in about 1 inch of water...camera guy then panned AC climbing out of a DITCH to the sidewalk.. they cut off

We have a lot of family in the Tampa Bay area and they are all in evacuation zones. We have invited them to come up to the Panhandle but they would have to leave soon to avoid being on the road at landfall.
 
They (Weather and Climate Change Channel) should stick to reporting the weather and not the politics.
I got $5 that JC will make a mention of climate change at least once every cutaway segment he’s on the air when the storm really picks up.
