the thing with a Korth, is that they are way up there in price, i know, as i said i have one.
Mongoose 6", 357/38 special, DLC silver finish, Turkish walnut wood stocks, signature Sheriff Jim Wilson, a former Texas lawman.
you had better want to keep it like forever and a day, cuz you ain't gonna get what you paid for it, unless it's a limited edition like the one i have, and a Korth (or other revolver collector) desires in his/her collection.
then of course there are auctions that you might get your price, as long as (i think) you set a high reserve (that at least meets what you paid for it plus a tiny bit more).
i'll be keeping mine for a while, but if i am ever made an offer i cannot refuse, it will be gone in a NY minute.
it is after all to me...a commodity.
Korths are hand fitted, in Germany, and rather than bronze bushings at the pivot points, they have roller bearings, giving you an incredible trigger/hammer action, that is "buttery smooth"
i have a Colt Python, S&W 686+, Ruger Vaquero, Ruger GP 100, and the trigger/hammer action being good in all of them, still do not compare to the Korth.
but a Korth is an investment, over time, not the immediate flip.
