In the market for a 1911...

I am in the market for a 45 cal 1911....looking at the TRP or Vickers....pro's/cons. It will be used for target practice only.

Out of those two, the Vickers would be my pick. They are so close with so little differences such as the difference in design of the FSC. I like the design better on the Vickers. I prefer the sights better on the Vickers. Both have the same finish, same G-10 grips. I like the WC hammer and safety on the Vickers.
Either one of these, battle ready fighting pistols will serve you well no matter what your intended use is. Whichever route you go you will be well served. These are phenomenal pistols and what I posted is merely my opinion and observation.
 
Sorry to say I can't offer a comparison but can only say I am very pleased with my TRP. This guns performance I feel makes me a more accurate shooter. Well balanced and for me a perfect hand fit
