I'm eyeballing TorkMag's 50rd box magazine whose proprietary spring system allows a mag just a couple inches longer than a standard 30rd and flawless feeding. Less bulk this way, and will fit in standard open-top mag shingles for your plate carrier.

What I run on my plate carrier: HSGI X2R Taco shingle


That's 300 rounds of 5.56 without the massive bulk of running 3 of these KSI 100 round drums:


Yet I already have a 100rd drum and don't mind using that for defense against potential home invaders.
