Insurraction act?

There was talk back last summer sometime around June of Trump potentially signing this act to quell the rioting in certain states and cities that were not taking action to stop the rioters.

I haven't heard of a recent instance of this topic being discussed and I'm sure there is zero chance of this being signed now as there is no reasonable threats.

My comments are not meant to be interpreted as a political statement and the purpose of my post is to potentially shed light on the topic being discussed.

Nice disclaimer there @10mmLife .........😬😬😬😬
We unfortunately live in a time where anything you say can and will be taken out of context for the sake of argument and cancel culture.

I'm sure even this statement will probably get someones blood boiling assuming it's directed at them (which I hope it does not).

I've stated before that I do not get worked up nor do I express angry emotions through a keyboard and I try to remain respectful as possible to all no matter if I truly have a difference of opinion.

“United we stand" means all of us together!

The real question is if a POTUS invoked it, would the military fire on US civilians? I have to think some would, but I also think the ones that wouldn't might start taking out the ones that would.

I feel that in a few months after the transition has been finalized and the covid vaccine is widely distributed people will go back to life as usual. We are all a little amped up not knowing what's going to happen next but the truth is we can't really control what does happen in a grand sense but we need to stick together. We are being pulled apart from the inside with all the infighting and blaming for the past election and the recent events that have unfolded and the left is having a field day watching it. There definitely will be some major legal battles ahead for our rights and we can't give up hope without at least giving it a chance that we can turn things around in a couple years in the midterms. Let's do our best to promote pro 2A organizations in state like GOA and nationally with the NRA even though they aren't perfect they've been doing it longer then anyone else and the have a larger voice to be heard.

All of us sticking together is what will give us the best chance to win in the end, but giving up hope is just plain giving up!
