Aside from its intended purpose, I think it would be an interesting tool for a display. Give your gear a COD look. An IR kit would be interesting too.

I put reflective pinstriping on all my helmets, and on my motorcycles. Been doing that for years. And, I make sure all my soft gear (jackets, pants, gloves, boots) have reflective panels and/or welting.

Something bright and reflective on the sides or back of a motorcycle helmet I agree with, to be seen is to stay alive, some of those pictures show a glow inside the helmet which could cause a distraction or glare for the rider, to me that’s unsafe.
