Is the 1911 A-1 suitable for +P in .45 with a stainless barrel?

Realize that most manufacturers do not even approach the maximum rating for standard pressure in their loads; in .45acp’s case, this would be 21000psi, so most manufacturers standard loads will most likely be under 20kpsi. A +P load will usually be just barely over 21k; usually under 22k, definitely not up near the 23100psi which is the max .45+p pressure.
