God no they're awesome I have 2 XD 45 and absolutely love them
Well, I guess all of us devoted .45 people would have to think we ARE irrelevant. Why does Springfield hate the XD, Xdm variants of the .45? You won't sell threaded barrels for the 4" Service, or the 3.8" elite. But you WILL offer 4.5 threaded barrels for the Xdm, which is discontinued, and of course you won't make a 4.5 Xdm Elite in .45. You DO make the Elite in 9mm, and 10mm, BUT NOT .45. The XD/XDm/XDm Elite are the perfect gun for the .45 acp, well balanced, absorbs recoil, accurate as hell. Please, will someone at Springfield Armory WAKE UP AND Support the .45 XD/XDm/XDmElite!!!!!

The mod.3 is nice, especially for the price. Would also like to see them offer it in .40.
