Are those a couple of Auto Ordnances on the bottom ??Forget Valentine's Day, it’s 1911 day! On this day John Browning patented the 1911 pistol in of course the year 1911.
My collection of "true" 1911's. (When I say true, I mean in .45 cal, not a fan of calling other caliber guns a 1911 but that's just me and my opinion. lol)

to be honest they are fully functional 1911's but I have never shot them, they are more man cave decoration 1911's. They are displayed. Are those a couple of Auto Ordnances on the bottom ??
Is so, I don’t see/hear much about them on the Forum.. Any likes or dislikes with ‘em or how they shoot?
My 1911's are all shooters. My father bought one commemorative edition 1911, which honors his U.S.M.C. battalion from Vietnam, that stays in the case. We make an exception for that one. Even then, I suspect that he may have given in to temptation and fired it on at least a few occasions. What's this buy a gun and never shoot it stuff ...
Inconceivable!!
I mean if it was carried by your grandfather in Guadalcanal i could understand....
Lord, I hope not.Sig Sauer made this nice gem a while ago.
I hope one day they issue it as the real deal in preferably all gold or red, white and blue.
