I watched an interview aboard AF1 Sunday where he signed the order. The Secretary of Interior was present and said they had already coordinated with various mapping platforms to get the name changed. It will take a few days for all of them to catch up.

The folks who lived through the civil war, and their children, had no problems with bases named after Confederate American heroes- then a bunch of sniveling idiots born 120 years or more AFTER that war had ended get “offended”. Hell I’ll bet 95%of the population have zero idea who Braxton Bragg, John Bell Hood, George Gordon, or Henry Benning even were!
