Very cool fun pistol, especially for a guy who grew up reading Mack Bolan novels as a kid. It was quite the kick to fire a magazine full when visiting my uncle in Arizona 30 odd years ago, a friend had it.

The article says it was Dirty Harry's favorite but it wasn't Eastwood's favorite. Reportedly, the three guns on set jammed so much that a frustrated Eastwood would throw it off the pier into the bay. A diver was on standby to retrieve the gun so it could be repaired and put back into rotation.
