well, obviously, the JD survives so folks can still get their whisky. What a relief.

They’ve got a bunch of warehouses-each of which has whiskey from several different years. That way, ya lose a warehouse you still have whiskey ready to go. Biggest issue I’ve heard about is that the Japanese market for bourbons ( and Tn whiskey) has exploded and their drinking up the good stuff

One fell a couple years ago, this seems to happened every decade or so. Taking a tour of them, they are pretty rickety especially with the amount of weight the store houses are holding
