RIP Thulsa Doom

I was fortunate to have crossed paths with him several times when I lived in NYC. The first time, I said, "Good morning Mr. Jones." He extended his hand, we shook hands, and he replied, "The name is James", and asked me for my name. We encountered each other several times after that and he always greeted me by my name. We chatted briefly on some occasions. On one occasion, I asked him how he developed that magnificent voice. His answer was that he stuttered in his younger days and worked very hard to eliminate that, but the voice itself was a gift from God that he could not take credit for. All in all, a fine old school gentleman, and a gifted actor. RIP James, you will be missed, but your legacy will live forever.
