I've had the pleasure of seeing him shoot, he's amazing. Another fast shooter is Bill Oglesby from Springfield IL. He fans his single action pistol so fast he fires 4 rounds but you only hear one shot! I don't know if he still has a gunsmith business or not. Bill did the gunsmith work for most of the cowboy shooters round here...
 
I really like Jerry (despite the fact he shoots for Springfield Armory’s competition!) and am glad he now holds the world record. He is what folks refer to as “down to earth” and is willing to share his love for and knowledge os shooting.

I am also glad the NRA is still involved in the shooting sports like this. A great organization for folks like us that are a little weird and like guns!

I met Jerry at the NRA convention when it was held in Pittsburgh many years ago, got his autograph and we must have talked for over a half hour, hell of a nice guy, also met Michael Baine at the Ruger booth, now we talked for over an hour, and he even showed us his personal Ruger guns he brought with him, also a hell of a nice guy.
