I watch the movie every chance I get.One of the heaviest rifles I have held was a 73 in 22 cal.,but it was purdy.

I was able to find and purchase a Winchester 73 rifle chambered in 44-40. It's production date was 1889, so 16 years since the first models came off the line. I had it thoroughly cleaned and inspected by a Gunsmith, who informed me it fired very accurately for it's age. I'm glad that I have it, and to date, it's the most expensive firearm in my possession.

Yeah, it is for now. I got the Colt Anaconda and original Python, as well as some WWI and WWII military weapons that cost a bit and I treasure, but the 73 is Iconic, as the article says, it's the true gun that won the west.
