I may be wrong, but I read that they want to have all future and present guns owners go through a physiological test to see if you are mentally capable to have a firearm. I can’t remember where I read this, but if I am not mistaken, Congress has put out a bill on this already.

Based on already established HIPPA laws Even if they are able to make that happen “which I doubt” that Information would be totally useless to them as all we would have to do is deny them the access to the report. They would have to dismantle HIPPA which won’t be easy to do.

Although there is a lot in that article that Biden wants to do what always makes me sick is blaming the Sandy Hook Tragedy on guns. This was a mental health issue, the young man had known

serious mental health issues and should have NEVER been given access to firearms. And even though all the guns were locked up when not in use the mother gave her son the combination/access to the safe.
The mother was the first one to lose her life. I lived very close to Newtown CT. and went to many of the memorials where I HEARD MYSELF many talking about this being a mental health tragedy however it was the government mandated HIPPA laws that did NOT allow that being discussed. HIPPA laws allowed the door to be opened for the Connecticut government to blame it on the guns AND gun manufacturers.
 
Once again, because yes...criminals will OBEY any new gun laws, and the violence will magically stop.

How about coming down on the "peaceful protestors" who BLOCKED THE E.R., to prevent the ambulance from delivering the wounded officers, chanting "we hope they die"??

And if that happened it would open the door for all defense attorneys to include mental health reports in mass shootings.
HIPPA is a government established law that prevents medical records to be shared, if the federal government attempted to bypass HIPPA the law suit’s would be monumental and tie up the courts for decades.
Look at it this way, if medical records of individuals involved in shootings were allowed to be brought up in court proceedings then it would no longer be all about guns and the “left” would no longer have a strong platform to push there agenda on gun control.
