Judge to Rule on Remington Bankruptcy Sale

Very smart move for Vista to get the ammo business, and also for Sierra getting Barnes since they haven't offered a non-lead bullet.

Good move IMO for both Ruger & Marlin. Since Marlin is located in Ilion, NY and Roundhill (see below) will get that Ruger may have to move Marlin production again. If so, hopefully to a 2A friendly location.

Not sure about Franklin Armory getting the dried bones and really just the name of Bushmaster.

Not quite sure how things will play out for JJE. AAC is a worthy asset, Parker is a niche upper-end shotgun maker, H&R has pretty generic products, Stormlake is a solid asset. and DPMS is basically DOA right now.

Roundhill got a pretty good deal for the Remington firearms assets, and the Ilion, NY and TN facilities. We'll see what happens on that end, as per above.

Sportsman's Warehouse with Tapco, but what more to say there.

I could be wrong however I’m fairly positive that all firearm manufacturing has come to a stop in Iliad NY due to
“Interestingly enough” the state of NY turned against them and forced them to move out of state. I’m fairly certain their wood products are made in Missouri, not certain on other components.

Last I heard that all things firearms came to a screeching halt in the Peoples Republic of NY early in the Covid19 shutdown since it wasn't "essential", but I don't know if things have loosened up.

Any former Remington-related firearms business is welcome to move to Montana.

Wonder who will pick up there R1 1911 pistol, didn’t Remington acquire Para Ordance? I may be wrong, just wondered.

I could see Bushmaster come back with a vengeance, Franklin at least is trying to push the limits With AR stuff. A name could mean so much more than the actual equipment. Look at Springfield, they carried the name and has done quite well.

My biggest concern is the 870 models. Even with all of the constant QC problems Remington experienced, all of my 870's ran like a top. I love Mossberg's polymer offerings, like my Mossberg 590A1, but have always liked Remington for pump guns with wood stocks.
