Just had the opportunity to fire new Springfield Prodigy DS !!!!! šŸ˜±

Guy @ my local range just happened to being giving it its 1st firing & omg šŸ˜±. Iā€™m still kinda shook from it. (canā€™t normally justify $3000-$7000 for a ā€œ2011ā€)
Cannot say enough great things about this pistol. Springs so light & buttery a baby could rack this thing. Recoil is so minimal the only thing I felt or noticed was the feel of the slide reciprocating which is usually un noticed. ABSOLUTE tack driver!!!! And I may be able to actually obtain one without being afraid to scratch or ā€œhurtā€ a Staccato

I'm itching to get mine in next Tuesday. I've already seen some really good reviews on it.

BTW welcome to the forum from NH.

That was the 1st thing I noticed day when I want to the range. The recoil was very soft, granted it was just standard 115gr range ammo but it was way softer then the 9mm xdm and regular 1911 chambered in 45 that I brought with me. It was soft enough that I checked to make sure it cycled, which it had with no issues. It is going to be a fun gun to shoot.
