Just learned about SCCY arms

I played with a few, A couple extensively. Never had any trouble. Biggest complaint that I heard the most was the trigger. Its DAO, just like shooting a revolver DA. If you want half c o c k e d get one of the many striker fired handgun. A few people complained that it wouldn't run out of the box, yet overlook that that some of the higher end manufactures need a "break in". These very same people are willing to overlook this. Guess haveing a break in is okay for guns costing 2-3Xs as much. I should have bought one years ago, Nah it's still a recycled Tupperware bottom feeder. Mags are expensive (come on it's a tin box, spring, and two bits of molded plastic) and being the cheap sob that I am I'll stick to revolvers. ;)

Sounds fair.

I rather have any SCCY over any Kel-Tec or Hi-Point, like I said the one I had was fine, but to each there own

🤣🤣😜

It doesn't seem to me (unless I'm reading the article incorrectly) that they have gone out of business.
Article says they have: "implemented a strategic downsizing to manage the current economic situation."

So it looks like they may still be in operation.

No biggie to me since I'd never own one, (yes I am a gun snob) as I've seen too many issues myself.
One of the gun shops I worked at once started selling them, and they stopped because customers had so many complaints.

Honestly, IMO Hi-Point would be a more reliable gun, but with today's pricing you could easily score a Taurus or even a Smith and Wesson for not much more.

I confirmed today going to my local gun shop that they closed up and locked the doors on the employees. So the website is not updated because no one can access it.
