testtest

Just purchased a EMP Ronin 4 9mm. What Ammo is Recommended

Just purchased an EMP Ronin 4 9mm. Went to the range and the ammo is used NewTuran brass FMJ 115gr. There were flecks of brass all in the chamber and fouled the firing pin. Took a bit for the Range Armorer to clear and clean. The book says high quality ammo, no reloads, or remans...What brand is recommended by Springfield to shoot through this weapon?

I've also been using some pretty clean-burning ammo like Sellier & Bellot, Fiocchi, and Norma -at least for the time-being, but definitely check-out this excellent SA article and related thread:

AYOOB: IS THERE A 9MM 1911 PROBLEM?

Forgot to mention that I've also been impressed with Igman 124.
Hope to conduct a field test at some point soon of the various ammos that my REMP3 seems to like.

Thanks, I have been using Norma in my Saint & XDS Mod2 without error, I will be testing out Norma next week at the range. I have seen the AYOOB article too.

It’s kinda like asking “I just bought a Honda Accord—should I be using BP or Shell, or what type of gasoline?”.

Long story short, all blaster ammo is pretty much created equal; I’d stick with major manufacturers, myself (Winchester, Federal/American Eagle/CCI/Remington, Fiocchi, S&B, PMC, Magtech, PPU—in no particular order).

But, all pistols are individuals. Just because one person’s EMP Ronin likes a certain load, does not guarantee yours will. So, just buy different ammo and see what works best in your pistol in your hands.
