Just was wondering why Springfield are now having the Hellcat to come with the ShieldSMS red dot option now and not the WASP, I know the Hellcat can take different red dots, just curious.

Glad I have the Shield RMSc which was one of the three available, SA recommended RDS, that fit when I got my Hellcat. Almost 3 years now with no problems whatsoever and still on the original battery with no loss of brightness yet (have replacement batteries on hand just in case)! I can't say anything negative about any other RDS as I have no experience with them. I feel that SA will do the right thing in regard to the WASP problems reported by owners. From what I've read here on the forum, the SMS, along with several others, seem to be good replacements for now.

Appears like that RDS is destined to fail when you need it most to get all the pink flamingos off your yard

Will state though, it’s sitting on shelf just like my Dragonfly that came with my XDm Elite, don’t like them, won’t use them…..

Flamingos are protected under the migratory bird act and it’s against federal law to kill them.
