While we're re-making the FBI, let's throw ATF into the hopper. The winds of change are 'ablowing.

Good news! Seeing how the ATF killed the Little Rock Airport Manager in his own home brought back memories of Ruby Ridge and the Branch Dividians. Poor management and too many self designated Rambo personalities in an agency like ATF IS A VERY BAD THING.

Patel in charge of both makes sense ... If the real purpose is to get rid of everything/everyone not needed at the ATF and to absorb into the FBI the few things that are still needed.

The ATF needs to be dissolved.

There are certain aspects of ATF expertise that are important such as bomb forensics, arson investigations, and firearms examiners, but the FBI Lab can absorb all that and in fact much of that is duplication. I am sure DOGE and Patel are already looking at that.
