Is this part of the Democrats' "tax the rich, make them pay their fair share" scheme? I don't think that has ever worked. The "rich" just move away, take their businesses, and their money, somewhere else. It leaves the state even poorer. Too many taxes, too much regulation, has even made Chevron leave California after 145 years. Elon Musk is moving SpaceX, even model Kristen Gaffney is leaving.

reminds me of jonh kerrys big sailboat he kept registered in va or some other state to avoid taxes from MAYup ME used to have a thriving Yacht building remodeling industry. Some yo-yo got the bright idea to add an extra tax. All but killed off the industry here. $ people wouldn't think of buying a yacht in some other less taxed state.
