Today’s world would never be able to function without a reliable power source, which has become a necessity for practically everyone, starting from business owners to remote workers, and many others.

If a power interruption occurs, it can completely ruin your entire workflow, but potentially dangerous for your data because when something like this happens, it can easily get lost.

A uninterruptible power supply, which is definitely a major life-safer in these instances.

I use one (appropriate power capacity) on each of my computer/router, TV/DISH box, and chest freezer/hard-line phone to iron out periodic power bumps to prevent electronics damage, and/or give me time to shut down the first two. I also use one in the bedroom to keep the clock, table lamp & phone there going until I can get to my back-up system going.

we have 5
one for each smart tv, one for the security cameras and one for the internet modem thing and one for the wifi ant.
and one that can run a string of led lights if we need some light for a short time, until we get other lights up and running
if we loose power for more than 30 minutes i have time to shut down the cameras without the you are OFF NOW routine
and we generally get 30 to 45 on the internet and that gets us logged into to see how long power is expected to be out
our computers are all laptops so they have 6 to 8 hrs of battery life
the APCs give us time to decide to hook up aux generator or shut stuff off

a note on cell
if we loose power, it usually kills the nearest tower in about 45 minutes so if its out longer it becomes important to keep the fiber internet up...

i also sue them as secondary SURGE protectors if the meter base surge fails

having a generator changed all of how i do things. made it a whole lot easier?
that's the better way to go if one has room for a propane tank, or has natural gas lines plumbed into the house (like i do).

over the years i had maybe 3 of those "mini-power supplies", and frankly, they were "just ok"

batteries were available for replacement, but cost more than a new power supply.

i don't do anything worth worrying about....never did, but fell into the "worry wart advertising" of must have one.
