Killed a tree

Belt Fed

Ronin
I really did, a small one though, no pics either. it got kilt by flying lead. took four across the street, first was this Kel Tec 410. didn't shoot it much and the last two finally hit the center after adjusting the sights. at a dollar a round for birdshot and almost 3 bucks a round for buckshot i didn't shoot much stuff is higher than snoop dog in a mary jane field. but it hit center on last two, ain't but three pellets in triple buck. it wasn't 3 inch either.

Shot leaning against my usual tree and i really went all out and moved the targets to 5 feet today. i was feelin pretty froggy. so i'm gonna try and pull a cliff and make this a long post instead of five or six post. as i am a hunt and pecker on the keyboard it gonna take me a while. i also got the lazer on with the sights too. that is a 1400 lumen light on that thing too.

also got in there cleanin all that stuff up and felt somethin eatin on my butt, dern ticks. so when i finished i bathed in dandruff shampoo. ok, enough of the ramblin and on with the crappy pics and the shotgun one is a bad one.

Next was the Sig 18x, sucker jammed 3 times on the first mag. i thought oh boy all this money fer a bad one. but never jammed again. The gun was fine, now lets get to that 800 dollar sight. is it worth it? maybe if you was in the service. i don't know how reliable they would be in service. it did work fine. it is a red circle dot. i still like the green circle dot on my others better but it did work. i do like how easy the battery is to change. but to a civilian, no it ain't worth the money and that's just my opinion. i did FINALLY get it sighted in. think this gun needed breaking in.

Way to go Belt! I really like that Emissary. I was thinking about one, but I got the "look"...even when I said, "just looking (place eyeroll emoji here, lol). Careful with those ticks, my friend. Up here some of them carry that Lyme disease. From where I sit, you poked holes in the right places, and if you had some fun doing it, that's all that really counts. ;)

Beware those damned ticks! I caught alpha gal allergy from a tick bite and can no longer eat beef, pork, lamb, etc. They're the scariest critters in the woods.

Never heard of that one.
Alpha galactose allergy. It's a sugar found in the meat of all mammals except humans and other primates. If a tick has fed recently on, say, a deer then bites a human it can inject enough of the deer blood into the human for our immune system to recognize it as an invader and attack. Once your immune system has created antibodies for the sugar, trying to digest more from your ham sandwich can trigger your immune system, resulting in symptoms from the runs, hives, etc. all the way up to anaphylactic shock. For me, it's usually the runs. As a southerner, taking away my ability to eat pork BBQ was enough to give me and abiding hate for ticks.
