The first goal of this article is to discuss a variety of legal improvised vehicle weapons that you can keep within reach and in plain view without suspicion. The second goal is to provide tips on how to use them.

Steering wheel lock.
My old lifted Chevy 4x4 would intimidate slow drivers in front of me. Multi-color paint, broken grill and multiple dents when looming in the rear view would often clear obstacles of those not wanting to get run over in their "nice" vehicles. You do what you need to in the "jungle" (big cities). A nice shiny vehicle truly doesn't clear space like a 6,000 lb. beater does.

I would not get out of the truck, if they get in my way i will run over them, if they bust my window or open my door i will shoot them but i will not be the aggressor if i see someone is acting stupid. your vehicle is like your home. you can shoot if someone enters it trying to do harm. or that's the law here

Dash cams and rearward facing cameras are the best tool to ensure you
have documentation against a road rager and insurance scammer.
They are also vitally important if you have to use defensive measures to protect yourself and family.
my camera has provided info to me 2x now
once was an elderly lady that smacked my door, i didnt have the heart to file a claim
the other a doe bouncing across the road, she was FASTTTTTTTT
my trucks obstacle avoidance gently applied brakes enough that she cleared front of truck, you can just see teh nose of truck dip slightly as it braked
camera caught a brown blurr emerge from tree and bounce/skip across the road...
real pucker factor of 8

My rides a bit on the high side to start with, so I'm already looking down on most traffic.
Nearest I've come to a road rager, was a jerk in Denali Suburban, and I was riding in the outside lane.
He crowded my rear end, and I dialed down the cruise control. We went from 62, to 50 before he kindly passed me.
Karma got him though, city police pulled him before I made it to town, and still had him stopped when I passed.....
And if things had gone sideways, I'm always armed outside of work.

Always armed anywhere I go I legally can be ... Always.
And some places I'm not suppose to be 🙄

Always keep my truck doors locked. Saved a guy's life one day as he tried to open the door at a stoplight. I just drove thru the red light and kept going.

Never drive faster than my guardian angel can fly. I'm usually pretty good at that in my truck, not so good on my Harley.

People are stupid, the only thing that gives hope to many of them is that jellyfish have survived millions of years without a brain.
