NOAA says just a "moderate" solar storm-
G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storms are likely on 14 Apr due to
the anticipated arrival of a full halo CME that left the Sun on 11 Apr.
G1 (Minor) storms are likely to carry over into 15 Apr along with the
arrival of a positive polarity CH HSS.
CURRENT SPACE WEATHER CONDITIONS

that's ok, the weather people cannot predict the exact time any storm will hit, they cannot predict any amount of snow or rain we will get, they cannot predict when the storm will passover.
yet, they still get 100% of thier salary......so don't feel bad if YOU don't know the weather either...!!!!
Well they were right when they forecast rain and wind for us today. Cold front coming through with possible storms. At least it is fairly fast moving.
We have had some heavy rain already but the bad stuff is about to arrive . Up to 70MPH straight line winds with the possibility of tornados and hail .
According to radar Bassbob is getting it now. Hope all is well.

What else could go wrong? Nothing seems right anymore
What they fail to mention is that the sun has an 11 year solar cycle. The sun is going into the higher activity part of the cycle now which means more solar flares and sunspots. Then it will go into a solar minimum in a year or so with hardly anything going on. Nothing unusual, but they sure do like to scare you. But if the solar flares are large enough, they sure can affect things down here on earth.
