Sorely missin in today's worldAnd most of what he said, should be "common" sense!!!!!! but........................................
well saidToo many people think it’s possible to take on the man on their own. I blame TV… You can act all tough on the Internet forums but the ATF shows up at your door, ain’t no one coming to help.
Don’t get me wrong, I feel bad for the guys that spent hard earned money on something they bought legally and can’t use now (and they ain’t cheap), but in the same breath, you knew you were pushing the envelope when you bought it. I’m sure me saying that ticks some people off but I said the same about bump stocks and look what happened. It’s always just a matter of time.
People have to get out of this mentality that the courts will come through and defend their rights and start dealing with it in the legislature. Stop voting for anyone that’s not pro 2A and maybe one day we’ll have enough votes to do away with the NFA. There is no way around it. Administrative law is based upon legislative law. Remove the NFA from the equation and the ATF’s power becomes non existent.
There is power in numbers. Our forefathers knew that. The next time a bump stock or force reset trigger sounds like a good idea, take that money and donate it to an org that will use it to back your candidate. $100 from a million gun owners is $100,000,000. That’s a lot of campaigning. Money wins elections.
Me and many others here made these sorts of observations here on this forum when they first came out. It was just a matter of time before the ATF stepped in.Too many people think it’s possible to take on the man on their own. Its both the Executive regulatory agencies along with the courts that decide what laws mean. That said, this is what is going on right now. Directly impacts this conversation.Overstepping is still tyranny. Legislature makes laws, executive enforces the law, judicial interprets the law. Everyone has their own job. It is not at the discretion of the ATF. It is the courts who will apply the law as written
That should be the case, but seeing some court cases being ruled in favor of the majority we can only hope that those who decide the case actually follow the law as written, not as some might interpret .Overstepping is still tyranny.
