Those are the ones that I use I bought them at Cabela's one day when I was walking by I saw them so I picked them up. Hopefully they are more then just wet wipes

I use the de-leading soap they have at the range. Hygenall, the ones mentioned in the article, are $12 for 45 wipes on Amazon. I'm going to pick some up next time I place and Amazon order. May be good to have.

I don't load lead, but have shot some early in my days. I've just decided not to handle lead only projectiles, excluding semi-jacketed.

yeah, i have a container of lead wipes in my bag, and wipe after shooting.

i also have a gallon of lead wash at home, for when i am done reloading, or cleaning my guns,.

i have my blood lead level checked 2 times a year..

my last lead level back in July was 23.3

my doctor says the inhaling as i shoot, can be the cause.. but i cannot wear a mask, as my safety glasses fog up....

i should have pointed out in my posting, #7, that for cleaning my guns, and reloading, i wear latex gloves.

i tried wearing them as i load up my magazines, or as i shoot, but that just does not work for me.

I don't shoot lead but try to use gloves when cleaning and wash up afterwards. I want to keep my hand model hands looking great even at my age! I am sure that something other than lead will finally do me in.

I reload and shoot a lot of lead bullets. Its never been a problem, but this does make you think.

A friend of mine made his living for a lot of years making and selling lead bullets. He was always careful, used all the safety precautions and kept his work space well ventilated. He had to give it up a couple of years ago because the lead levels in his body got too high. He made excellent bullets and I miss them.

i buy Hoppes by the gallon, and keep some on my bathroom shelf...

makes for a great cologne..!!
