Tell me the bad news doc. How long do I have?

I bought an M1A Scout from a dealer a month ago (June). He says he normally has to wait 6-8 weeks for most of his stock's shortest wait times, but I imagine every manufacturer is different. I know that everyone is backed up in production. But I also saw that SA moved into a big factory last month to meet demand. What's the ballpark do you think?

Sorry man, while many here may be very experienced with SA firearms, that question might be unanswerable except by those employed at SA...My LGS has one hanging on the wall, however. Good luck.

I hear you. I guess what I'm also asking is how long did y'all have to wait for your orders once you placed them if you ordered recently. This can give me a ball park.
I get it...but in reality, different firearms are on different assembly lines...some are run every day, others are run once/year. SA sells WAY more Hellcats than they do M1As...and some M1As sell much better than others, thus the answer could be wide and varied. I waited 2 years for the M1A I wanted to come into stock locally (I did not place an order, mind you), then found it at one, close to what I wanted, then ordered parts elsewhere to build what I wanted...I have yet to see what I originally wanted 2 years ago at any retailer near me to date.

I also can say I waited 6 months for a 10mm Ronin last year, got impatient, then bought it elsewhere when I saw one in stock at a another LGS. 1 month after I found one, my first LGS called me, go figure. I ended up buying another gun from him to get my deposit back...

There are so many variables that your question may be impossible to answer accurately...hang in there...if I had to throw a dart, I'd say start at 6 months...
