This is one SLxy optics line that’ll definitely still respect you in the morning.

Just wrote an article about these prisms, that are now currently on sale cheaper than when I wrote about them last week. If they were one of the best deals in an optic at msrp, then on sale for 219.99 is insane. Thats for the red and green versions. I don’t get anything out of it, other than I promise you you will not regret one. Im now up to 5 of these two red and three greens with this sale.

I started out with PA optics because of their economical price points, but all of them have failed for one reason or not.

Won't go with anymore PA optics, although I still buy from PA from time to time.

Hopefully, these prisms are more reliable/durable.

I’ve got 4 of the microprism. 3 SLX-1 and 1 SLX-3. The mounting system they provide is one of the most flexible on the market. I haven’t had a problem with any of them and I love the etched reticle. I wish they could shoehorn the technology into a pistol red dot. They would capture the market. As the article says, battery dies your reticle is still crystal clear. You could say goodbye to suppressor height sights and/or BUIS in general. I’m sure the technology will get there eventually.

BTW, I believe the SLX series are made in the Philippines.

Damn, I have only owned the prisms. Was it the red dots or scopes like lvpo? I have been debating between their top dog lvpo or a gen 2 vortex razor they are basically the same price. I have a gen 3 Razor that is amazingly bright so I figure the gen 2 has to be good.

Their early LVPOs. Likely better now but I consider them entry-level, and have moved to other brands including in the red dot arena.

I considered trying the SLx prism recently but shied away based on early experiences.
