This showed up in my mail box the other day. I guess I'm a bit behind as I don't follow them. Anyone have the back story to this?

That's a proactive seller, kudos to them. Hopefully others will follow suit.

Let's consider: Federal agencies not tasked with law enforcement are buying guns and ammo. Federal agencies are "requesting" information about the customers of certain types of businesses. ATF agents have been caught trying to conduct warrantless searches of gun purchasers.

Nothing to see here...

Actually, to put another other spin on things... how about primary care physicians asking you if you have any guns in the house? Anser yes and that goes in your chart. Mental health research or invasion of privacy? In my not so humble opinion, they have no right asking.

That was a thing at one point a few years back. Told my doctor don't bother asking, and he told me he had no intention of doing so.

No they don’t but my PCP saw my empty holster and we talked for 30 minutes about the guns we both have. He told me his whole family shots.

my PCP is aware that i have guns, cuz i was concerned about my lead levels.

he told me, he has several patients that have to monitor thier levels as well.

i think that if a person talks about depression, THAT might get him/her to act on it.
