Linkless 1911 Assembly/Disassembly - Manual

[LLC Switchblade]

I obtained an unfired almost new in box Linkless 1911, but it lacked an owners manual. Disassembly was OK, but I am having trouble with the reassembly. Springfield tells me that they do not have a manual available, even through their archives.

HELP? If you have a manual you can sell me, send me as a PDF, or can help me find a web link or some other source, that would be great!

Linkless 1911? Sounds like a hipower to me, which as I understand it, is the major difference between the two.

Is it an Omega?

Neither an Omega or a Hi Power. Apparently there were some patent issues so it was not in production for very long.

Thanks for sharing this info. The patent information is interesting but this doesn't give me what I need for the reassembly as the linkless barrel is unique. Actually, the tricky bit is the guide rod and a semi-circular bushing whose correct location/orientation wasn't obvious up front. Still hoping someone will have a Linkless manual I can copy, but I do appreciate your sharing what you had.
