Mine is a match-grade 22" fluted heavy Bushmaster barrel 1/9 twist (from back-in-the day). It was originally 24" but I had threaded for a MD and shortened to 22". The barrels' original features are:
  • 24” Fluted, Non-chrome-lined Barrel Based on DCM Competition Design
  • Button Rifled 1 in 9"
  • 1” dia. Out to the Gas Block
  • 11° Competition Muzzle Crown
  • V Match Sight Base/Gas Block
  • Included the BCG
  • .223 chamber (pre-Wylde)
The build has Gen 1 UBR stock, free-float handguard, Vortex 6.5-20x50mm & RRA match trigger.

I have it sighted in at 200 with 55 gr, but need to rezero/test it for some 69 gr loads (and go longer) I have this later year once the weather breaks a bit. Heavy sucker so it's a DMR/Overwatch-type build.

Mine is a Eagle Arms H-bar 20" 1:9 twist. Iron sights only and it's pretty darn accurate for a stock rifle.
Eagle Arms out of Coal Valley Illinois. They in turn were bought by Armalite or bought the Armalite name and moved to Arizona depending on who's telling the story it seems.
Anyhoots they made a dang fine A2 style rifle that was very tight and well made accurate rifle.

Barrel probably weighs 4#+?

Yea around there, but not as heavy as the 20" WOA Service rifle barrel.
What weight bullets do your guns prefer?

That’s sweet. GM barrels are nice. I know several guys that build out their 22’s run their barrels. Haven’t heard anything bad about them.

In my 16” 1:9, 62-64 shoot great. 55-62gr is a good weight for a 1:9 but like Hans and Talyn, I have shot 69gr through it and don’t want to say I was surprised at how well it grouped but it shot them very well. It’s not to say that all 1:9 twist will shoot sub MOA 62-69+ weight bullets but don’t be afraid to try or limit yourself to one weight.

I posted what I did in reference to sierra's 90 or 95 gr on twist 1/6.5 or 1/7 only at certain velocities being less than X for faster twist needed. It does apply for other bullets also when it's marginal or in between twist rates. Go on the berger site and use the twist calc.
