Looks like the designation for the new NGSW has changed to the M7 now.
The service's upcoming M5 from Sig Sauer will now be called the M7 after it was discovered Colt Industries also makes a weapon called the M5.

That's the way I measure all of my purchases. How much ammo could I buy with this money ? There's a list of things I want/need a mile long all on the back burner.

Nice looking rifle and my interest was peaked at the mention of a .308 version.
That being said, a (Sig) $4,500 and not in black? No thank you as well as I’m not currently looking to get back into the AR platform.
Now if Springfield came out with a Saint Edge in .308 18-22 inch barrel I’d be camping out at my local LGS to buy one.
