Low capacity gun/standard mag

The external dimensions are typically the same between a low-cap & standard cap mag but the low-cap mag have an internal block to prevent the normal capacity, or a low cap may have a block built into the over design of a low-cap.

Good afternoon gentleman,
I've been searching for SV 308 10.3 pistol for weeks. I found one, however it's the California compliant version. I live in florida.. is it just as easy as aswap in with standard mags or is there some sort of different mag well to dis allow the larger magazine
Just buy some 20 or 25 rd PMags and go to town.

Absolute worst case, you may have to swap out your mag release, which is a cheap part and all of 5 minutes work.

Hello @TacticalAkita and welcome to the forum.

I escaped California a little over two years ago. ;) I trained with 10 round magazines for a couple of years. I know it's a different platform but my Springfield XD pistols had no trouble accepting the standard capacity magazines.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Hi,

Thanks guys..
Springfield confirmed there's a difference between ca compliant and low capacity.
Problem is I just found out Iowa gun shop is a scam and that's the only reason the they have the gun. They're not real or something

Yep, scams galore out there on the interwebs. Glad you caught it before burning your debit card.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Thanks for all your input.
I'm pretty sure I'm just seduced by the novelty buy bug anyways.. I figured that's why they're all sold out and not for resale from what I've seen. I'm already starting to let go of it in the want part of my brain lol.. you can't get the saint edge 11.5 either from. What I've seen. I really just wanna short guy to play around with that won't be over gassed or poorly rated

So…the best way to get away from over gassing is go piston, not DGI.

Seriously—look at a Brownells BRN180 upper. You can get one in .300BO, and scratch that .30 itch.

HK51 here. With a meat grinder A3 stock.

What was yours?
Been a while back, think it was a Banshee, wouldn't swear to it. had about a 10 inch barrel and a muzzle brake. only shot it twice and handed it back to the owner and said Nope. lol damn brake like to blowed my ear muffs off. felt like i'd been hit in the chest with a mallet. lol

My 5.56 SBR has a 8.5 inch barrel and it's bad enough and it has no brake.

I ran a HK51 hard; a mag dump made my shoulder feel like it had been run through a hammer mill…I did keep most rounds on target, though (my misses went low when I over corrected for the muzzle rise).
