Luger Trigger Pull

Snake45

Professional
I've never owned or shot a P.08 ("Luger"), or even dry-fired one that I can recall, so I'm hoping some of you here can help me. What's the trigger pull like on a Luger? Weight, takeup, creep, overtravel? Yah, I know there will be variations, but what's "typical," more or less?

As long as I'm asking, I have the same questions about the single-action trigger on the CZ 75.

Thanks in advance for any help.

BTW, is there an Edit function on this board? I couldn't find one.

I think you'll find the only option for edit to your post is during the 30 minutes after you hit post. There will be the option in the bottom, left corner of your post to select, then make your edits, then re-post. But after that 30 minutes, no more option as I understand.

A Luger’s trigger is SWEET; seriously. Very light, very crisp; think single action revolver…a slight bit of take up, a 4# break (maybe) that’s surprisingly clean.

Buddy has a Suhl long-barrel that drives tacks…when it runs (it is VERY temperamental…has to be a warm 124gr FMJ load; no 115’s, no 147’s, no JHP’s, no bunny farts).

Thanks. That's exactly the kind of input I'm looking for here.
