M1921 Balloonist's Switchblade

Anyone know any info about this? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Rather looks like a pruning knife of some sort.
I’m guessing Euro made, too.
If in fact it is exactly as the title mentions, it's shape makes perfect sense. My father was in blimps during his Navy career and thier gear was all designed to not puncture the gas bags or outer covering. It was also designed to prevent static electricity discharges. When they were inside of the actual airbag they could not in fact wear shoes or socks but had to go barefoot.

Knives were important, but sharp points were an anathema. I bet if dad were alive he might even recognize that piece of kit, or something very like it.

I do know that switchblade were valued by some services, WWII paratroopers were issued a switchblade with one blade designed to cut shroud lines.
