M1A elevation adjustment question

I installed a smith enterprise good iron muzzle break on my scout squad and now the elevation is around 600 when zeroing on 25 yard battle sight zero target. The smith enterprise MB does appear to be ever so slightly taller (need a new battery in my caliper or I could say exactly how much) could this be causing this?
