M1A, Springfield Armory, Scout Model, with Repro “BM-59” Stock

I have this rifle, and am contemplating selling it…
I have had it for maybe a dozen years, it was completed by a gunsmith called “Hawk”.
I am at a loss as to what it should sell for ‘ballpark’?
I would appreciate any positive input?

Ah-ha! I was doing it from Memory without actually looking…
I’ve been waiting for my Cataracts to ‘ripen’ enough for Surgery.
If I don’t pull out my lighted magnifying glass…I can and do come up with some Interesting ‘interpretations’!
So…Any additonal thoughts on what I should ask for ‘IT’?
I actually have two more ‘M1A’ Platforms I want to sell…hopefully I can post the same question on those…
I am not ’thin-skinned’ and I really do appreciate any input!

You are better off going to a firearms bluebook website for pricing your M1A firearms unless you have something really unique that cannot be found there.

A trustworthy LGS could also get you the most accurate value for what you are seeking.

CavMan,

I over the years I have sold off several custom M14s and the method I used to get the most value back out of them was to put the rifles up for sale in standard stocks, and sell off the custom stocks separately. This method never had me losing money.

I hope that helps, and good luck.
