M1A stock interchangeable?

Will the M1A standard issue stock fit on a scout squad rifle? If so, is this documented anywhere on the springfield-armory.com website? I can’t find it.

That's helpful. I have yet to pull the trigger on the purchase so I'm still researching my options. Getting a replacement stock will probably follow shortly after. I prefer the black hand guard so I guess I'll need to purchase that as well.
